SUMMARY: The Assistant Director for the Primary Care-Population Medicine Program directs key administrative elements of the Primary Care-Population Medicine (PC-PM) Program. Oversight of these key elements including the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC, the third year clinical clerkship for the PC-PM Program); the Master of Science in Population Medicine program; and grant management. The Assistant Director will collaborate with program leadership on curriculum development, LIC mentor faculty development and student issues/concerns.
Five to seven years related experience in an academic and/or healthcare setting.
Experience in staff recruitment and development.
Experience in program development.
Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills
Experience with data collection and analysis
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, faculty, mentors and as a member of a leadership team.
Leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Supervisory/management experience preferred.
Criminal background and education check required.
