We are currently looking for Financial Controller - Fixed Asset/Software Capitalization for our Budapest Office
We are looking for a financial controller into our FCG / Internally Developed Software Capitalization team. This team focuses on a specialized area of Fixed Assets accounting/Reporting.
The team is responsible for managing full accounting/reporting/controlling process of internally developed and capitalized software. The Team consists of four members and is part of the Financial Control Group within the Budapest Office.
This is a complex role that has heavy involvement in accounting, reporting and planning processes (budget/forecast) and also involves communication with senior internal clients. Key areas of responsibilities:
Liaising with internal clients on possible future changes we can expect, and execute the changes in Fixed Asset Register (sub-ledger).
Booking the software capitalization (once per month)
Execution of control reports on bookings
Expense pre-and after allocation checks (system, result, business unit and test checks)
Performing the month end close related reporting activities - 70% of the tasks
Commenting, explaining to higher management, and key stakeholders any significant changes in figures, structures, booking models - 15% of the tasks.
Budget, Forecast process participation in validating multi-year figures, supporting Business Partners
Closely cooperate with colleagues from New York, London, Glasgow, Hong Kong, China (Global process).
Participation in Simplification and other firm wide projects
There is a high exposure toward senior management given the materiality.
Our stakeholders are from firm wide level.

Carry out tasks related to the job in accordance with the instructions of superiors (ad hoc reports)
Possibility for doing tasks on other fields what is also in the scope of the team activity
Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline and availability to work full time (8 hours a day)
At least 3 years of experience related to finance or accounting
Solid knowledge of finance or accounting concepts
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Technical orientation is welcomed (MS Access, SQL, MDX,), but not must.
Ability to be exposed in front of senior management from time to time
Stable knowledge of Microsoft Office
