Conduct financial analysis, manage budgets, prepare client quotes and contracts, assist in fundraising efforts, and manage operations and technology activities.. This position reports to the Director of Open Circle and works collaboratively with the organization’s other staff as well as administrative staff at the Wellesley Centers for Women (WCW).
RESPONSIBILITIES Finance • Develop and maintain annual operating budgets, forecasts and financial reports. • Prepare financial models and analysis to inform organization’s decision making. • Prepare client quotes and contracts. • Manage inventory of materials for programming and orders. Development • Assist director to research funders and grants and write and submit proposals and grant reports. • Coordinate grant submissions and reports and contracts, in coordination with WCW’s grants and contracts department. • Develop grant budgets and manage grant finances. • Design and execute annual giving campaign and maintain records of gifts. Technology • Manage development and maintenance the organization’s technology assets, including databases, electronic files, websites, e-learning and other applications. • Provide technology support for staff members on Open Circle technology applications. Other • Contribute to planning and facilitation of Open Circle staff meetings and staff professional development activities.
QUALIFICATIONS • 2-4 years experience in finance, operations and technology • Comfortable learning new technologies and helping others learn and use technology applications • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills • Self-aware, reflective, and interested in ongoing social and emotional growth • Excellent writing skills, experience with a variety of writing forms • Ability to offer and receive constructive feedback; operate with a growth mindset • Ability to problem-solve and to remain calm in stressful or unexpected situations • Organized, efficient, ability to handle multiple tasks and effective at time management • Ability to collaborate with others and lead project teams • Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Experience with or desire to learn FileMaker or other database software, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Captivate, Joomla or other web hosting platform • Passionate about social and emotional learning • Commitment to diversity and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred • Ability to lift and transport training materials • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field; MBA in nonprofit management desirable
