Houston Christian High School (HC) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Development Associate. This full-time, exempt position. The Development Associate is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of annual giving programs including the annual fund campaign, stewardship program, grant writing, financial aid, and other events and activities to support development efforts. The Development Associate works in collaboration with the Advancement Department and reports to the Director of Development.
Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years of fundraising experience in annual fund or equivalent.
Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge fundraising software preferred.
Requires demonstrated success in fundraising project management, grant writing, and volunteer management.
Proficient in basic technology applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel). Google Apps knowledge is preferred (Google Drive, Google Docs, Gmail).
Exhibit excellent verbal, visual, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Possess excellent customer service skills.
Represent the school in a positive light.
