Position Summary: The LCSW Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision and management of therapists assigned to Community Based Services (CBS) cases and in some cases when appropriate for continuity of care, residential and day treatment cases.
They will be a point of contact for supervisees and interns. Maintain oversight of admissions process, course of treatment and transition/discharge planning for supervisees. Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources. Provide direct client contact each week including carrying an assigned caseload (up to 25% of the position) and complete all job duties described in the job description.
The LCSW Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership in support of Tennyson clinical philosophy, adherence to CDHS regulations, Medicaid compliance, and referral contracts, and uphold COA standards and Best Practices.
Position Requirements: A Master’s Degree in Counseling with an LCSW required (providing MSW supervision). Three years’ experience required with children and families. One year experience of supervisory and training skills. Demonstrated clinical focus and skills. Collaborative worker. Flexibility and ability to deal with emergencies and make independent decisions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must possess knowledge of family systems theory and success in behavior management, assessment skills, crisis intervention and case management. Must have excellent organization and management skills.
The schedule for this position is Sunday – Thursday with flexibility for some evenings to accommodate family needs.
