Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with a specialty in Data Analytics or related field with four years of analytics experience, to include demonstrated analytic experience receiving, modeling, and analyzing both payer and EMR data, as well as experience and proficiency in data access, manipulation, and analysis, and computer experience using EHR/EMR software and the Microsoft Office Suite required. Must have experience in health services research and evaluation approaches, including study design, selection criteria, and sample size of statistical methods. Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Epic experience preferred, SAP Business Objects experience preferred, Population Health System experienced preferred.
Job Standard / Operational Needs: Job Summary: The Population Health Analyst will plan, design, and develop/implement reporting and dashboard tools in order to analyze key trends and performance related population health management (PHM) indicators, as established. Responsibilities include analyzing clinical and system performance of programs, practices, and providers of health care, conducting extensive data analyses, presenting analytic findings in a variety of formats, formulating recommendations, and effectively presenting the results to non-analytic audiences, collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to gather and analyze the PHM needs and requirements, manipulating and reporting on large electronic claims and clinical datasets with Epic, Business Objects, Microsoft and other reporting tools. The Analyst will work with the Information Management and Technology department to develop developing analytic solutions based on available data sources, organizational needs, and timelines to support population health management, including disease registries.
