The Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University invites applicants for one or more full-time, tenure track positions focused on high quality research on various finance topics.
The department seeks to fill the following teaching needs at the graduate and undergraduate level: derivatives, financial markets and institutions, and financial risk management. This position will be effective August 16, 2018.
A candidate must have PhD in Finance on the joining date and should demonstrate potential for high quality scholarly activity. Candidates must have experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment and must be also committed to do so as a faculty member at VCU. A record of high quality publications is preferred.
