Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow within the Exposure Science division of the Department of Environmental and Occupational Medicine. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Participate in research projects of his or her mentors,selected from among the faculty that are part of the training grant and under their direction, assist in developing new research projects related to environmental exposures.
Performs research laboratory assignments, necessary to meet the objectives of the research projects.
Presents research results at internal meetings at EOHSI and at national or international scientific meetings.
Assists in data analysis collected from the research studies on exposure at EOHSI.
Home Location Campus: Piscataway (RBHS)
A strong background in exposure science is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and ability to publish scientific research papers/articles.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, is also essential.
Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
As per grant funding:
Must be either a citizen or non-citizen national of the United States, or must have been lawfully admitted to the United States for Permanent Residence.
Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible to apply for Kirschstein-NRSA individual fellowships.
