You'll be doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Liaison with internal business teams to understand ongoing and upcoming Consumer Net Promoter Score survey needsBe the business subject matter expert, experienced in business analysis and requirements gatheringLead process design and project implementation teams in process improvement activitiesDiagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using principles of process excellence and related toolsSupport the sample design for those surveys by developing the sampling criteria, and by defining and documenting business and functional requirements for sample productionTranslate business requirements into technical specifications for programmingProgram and validate queries and data transformations to meet sample requirementsProject manage an ongoing list of sample requirements and oversee the delegation of programming resources in order to meet deadlinesAdminister or oversee multiple periodic sample production runs and log events, changes, errors related to each runDesign and update Quality Assurance checklists and supporting queries and analyses to ensure validity of sample production runsMaintain regular, clear communications with external research vendor on sample issuesMaintain informal knowledgebase of Optum data systems used as sources for sample dataRedesign existing sample queries as needed due to systems migrations or changes
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent work experience4+ years of experience in writing business and / or system requirements and business / finance analysis2+ years of experience with documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects and deadlinesExcellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience with MS Project, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio4+ years of experience in writing SQL queries or demonstrated proficiency in writing / understanding complex SQL queriesPrevious Healthcare Industry experiencePrevious Team Lead or Project Lead experienceExperience with JIRA or related issue and project tracking softwarePrevious experience with SAS Careers with Optum.
