The role is responsible managing test data collection and consolidation efforts from various data sources, applications and platforms to be utilised in auto data driven test management/execution approach for Retail Credit Decision System, Power Curve Origination (PCO) as part of Real Time On boarding solution. Scope of the role, will be to provide support in design stage, maintain and resolve data and test related issues, also support the business requirements for application workflow relating to auto data driven test management, data quality, metadata enrichment and test management.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
To undertake functional and integration testing in support of the business requirements and liaison with third-party vendor to ensure appropriate test coverage for PCO Data Enrichment and Strategy Manager.
To attend workshops comprising business and or Infra, technical representatives to cover test-dependent activities such as data requirements, verification and prioritization, test scenario identification and other general matters that impact PCO.
To ensure that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders. Scope is to cover test cycle contents and regression tests.
To create allocated test scripts, monitor test execution and ensure results are recorded.
To co-ordinate re-testing of defects and issues through best methods of re-test by business test representatives or via third-party vendors.
To prepare and maintain relevant test data documentation, including test scripts, activity schedules, narrative and written reports, and visual progress charts.
To liaise with and assist each line of business regarding the test planning, testing activity, and test results analysis and provide reporting defects, issues on daily basis.
Qualifications and Skills
Skills & Experience
Effective in building highly collaborative relationships with other internal and external teams to provision with testing data, testing methods, testing scenarios and testing quality
Strong people skills with the ability to manage differences, persuasive, advocacy and drive consensus
Strong verbal and written communication skills with power knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
Work closely with various technology/project teams to understand the business meaning of data, and provide analysis and requirements to ensure the data design is fully understood and the development initiatives are in line with the intended design and standards
Apply test automation and innovation on new data platforms as per Group/Programme tests strategy
Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools
Ability to plan testing capacity and resource management
Knowledge of the domain, system or application-under-testing
Preferably 8-10 years of data analysis, data enrichment ,test management and project experience
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and strong ability to mediate cross functional issues and work with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
Excellent oral / written communication, problem solving and analytical skills
Advanced knowledge of CA technologies TDM & ARD, Oracle/Excel, SQL,SAS, or related prior Data enrichment platform experience
Must have detailed Test management experience across application lifecycle management
Strong initiative and ability to operate with minimal direction, and with solid follow through
Prior experience or familiarity with Experian Decision system solution platforms i.e. NBSM, Power Curve Originations, Power
