The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for enhancing and maintaining a properly functioning revenue cycle process, i.e. patient access, revenue integrity, claims adjudication, and AR management through a cross-department organizational structure. Also responsible to maintain thorough knowledge of all applicable and regulatory and payor policies and is responsible to achieve industry standards for key performance metrics through setting, educating, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures. Creates value in operations, by incorporating process redesign, organizational design, and change management creatively and seeking out new and alternative ways to deal with issues and opportunities that will benefit the organization. Routinely monitors, tracks, and evaluates both organizational and staff productivity and performance and routinely communicates progress and results with parties as appropriate. Responsible for coordinating and/or educating others with a need to know, analyzing data for reimbursement trends and interfacing with internal and external leaders to resolve identified issues.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting is required; consideration will be given to other degrees with proven competencies. Must possess strong time management skills and have the ability to perform workflow process improvement.
Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and analytical and problem solving skills; have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as internal personal skills; demonstrate supervisory experience or aptitude for working with people in a leadership capacity.
