The National Runaway Safeline (NRS) has an immediate full-time opening for an overnight crisis services supervisor position, Thursday through Monday from 12am to 8am.
The crisis services supervisor position provides solution focused crisis intervention, information and referral, message relay and other related services for runaway and at-risk youth and their families via the crisis hotline and digital platforms. The crisis center supervisor will supervise and support volunteers who deliver NRS’ services. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-directed professional that enjoys working with a diverse group of people and is sensitive and responsive to cultural differences. Must be adaptable, good at problem solving and able to work as a team player.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is able to conduct multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Candidates must have good written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to navigate various data collection programs and the internet. Spanish speaking candidates preferred. Salary: mid to upper 20k.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and a minimum of one year crisis intervention (or BA plus applicable work experience and/or internship or work study placement in a social service environment.)
