Suffolk University invites qualified individuals to apply and be considered for the Alliance Manager position. The Alliance Manager is responsible for identifying recruitment opportunities and lead generation in support of growing Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) enrollment and corporate education revenue. Supports the Associate Director through marketing support and research leading to prospect engagement, event planning/promotion, alumni relations, marketing activities, and management of all printed collateral and digital properties for the Center.
EMBA and Corporate Education Responsibilities:
% of Time
Manage activities and communication with current corporate partners with the objective of generating EMBA and corporate education prospects
Creatively increase visibility and contact with corporate partners
Manage activities and communication with strategic partnerships such as EdAssist and Project Management Institute (PMI)
Find opportunities to partner with other qualified professional associations
Leverage professional association relationships to generate new opportunities to recruit EMBA prospects and pitch corporate education programming
Research database for key titles, employers, industries to identify leads for potential corporate partnerships and executive education opportunities
Plan and promote alumni events, recruit alumni lunch speakers
Identify potential alumni mentors for current students
Provide marketing support:
Publish/promote monthly EMBA newsletter
Coordinate with OMC on ongoing paid social campaigns (LinkedIn, etc.)
Populate EMBA social media pages in coordination with OMC and SBS marketing
Coordinate with Graduate Admissions Office on EMBA content within their communication plan
Work with SBS Marketing to keep EMBA/CEE web presence and brochures current
Continuous updates of CEE's marketing collateral (flyers, data sheets)
Provide operational support:
Support the Director of the Center for all Center programs as necessary
Be available to staff Center activities when required
At least 3 years of marketing and/or business development experience
Ability to be self-directed and work independently
Highly skilled at managing multiple projects with strict timelines
Ability to plan and execute events effectively
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working in higher education is helpful
Ability to travel locally
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook. Access or a relational database is a plus
Occasional Saturdays and evenings
