Assess, initiate, plan and coordinate metrics and reporting of Time and Attendance payroll export data to identify systematic, integration, and user entry issues. Partner with team members to ensure gapless processing between systems across University. Make recommendations for improvements and updates to processes. Provide work direction to time and attendance / payroll system team in carrying out daily tasks as well as pre-and post-payroll production processing. Serve as critical role with payroll system team to optimize payroll processes, resolve process / procedure issues and provide on-going training to various business partners on payroll practices and systems. Key liaison and subject matter expert for all payroll systems and help maintain vendor relationships. Responsible for the configuration and on-going maintenance of Time and attendance / payroll systems. Perform as a subject matter expert for all ongoing payroll system related projects and meetings. Ensure continuity and successful delivery of services to end user community.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration.
Preferred Education: Master's degree
Required Experience: 3 or more years relevant experience analyzing software and systems' performance, providing technical administration support to resolve problems with hardware and software applications, assisting in special project requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, specification/design document and project plan creation. Test/test scenario creation and providing training to non- technical users.
Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Brio, payroll system interfaces.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Demonstrated quantitative, analytical and logic skills. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with network systems and instructional computing, including internet services, web browsers, Windows and Macintosh-based software, and PC desktop applications (MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint). Ability to conduct training classes and presentations. Knowledge of time-keeping systems.
