West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses, is seeking an innovative, strategic and dynamic leader for the Campus Provost position at the new WVU Beckley campus. This position will report to the campus President.
In order to be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will:
Provide visionary leadership for all academic-related affairs at a recently relocated institution with a long, distinguished history.
Serve as the senior official in the absence of the Campus President.
Work with the Deans to provide rigor and relevance in residential and online academic programs.
Assist faculty in the implementation of innovative teaching methodologies.
Support and foster research and outreach.
Lead faculty development and evaluation.
Achieve and maintain program and institution-level accreditations.
Develop program assessment tools.
Maintain collaborative relationships with the main WVU campus in Morgantown, West Virginia.
