Walnut Creek!The Golden Rain Foundation of Walnut Creek is recruiting an experienced Board Services Coordinator to support 9 of our 18 homeowner associations. The individual will attend regular, executive, annual and committee meetings; take and transcribe minutes; compose and prepare related correspondence; and maintain official records per the civil code.In addition, the Board Services Coordinator will produce newsletters, newspaper articles, surveys, ballot packages, resolutions, press releases, database reports, directories, flyers, special event notices and mass mailings. The Board Services Coordinator prepares for and assists at the various HOA Annual Meetings, including the publication of notices, ballots, press releases, etc., in compliance with the applicable portions of the Davis-Stirling Act and assists as required by the Inspector of Elections in counting ballots and reporting voting results.You will also prepare for and assist at the various HOA Annual Meetings, including notices, ballots, press releases, etc., in compliance with the applicable portions of the Davis-Stirling Act and assist as required by the Inspector of Elections in counting ballots and reporting results. The Board Services Coordinator supports assigned Boards by answering questions, directing residents and others to the appropriate resource and/or Board member; organizing and maintaining meeting calendars; interfacing with other departments; and performing other duties that fall within the purview of the Manager.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in: customer service; time and priority management; team work and collaboration; knowledge and understanding of the Davis-Stirling Act and HOA administrative requirements; written and verbal communication skills. A strong working knowledge of MS Office is required. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access)Three years’ HOA Board coordination or community management experience is required.CACM or CAI certification is required.High School graduation, GED or equivalent is required.BA in Business, Management, or related subject highly desirable.Significant HOA, Real Estate and/or Property Management experience highly desirable; does not substitute for CACM or CAI certification.If you meet these requirements and want to join our team, please send resume and cover letter via email to email@example.com.
