Maximizes occupancy of university rental properties by performing leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws. Persuasively presents information. Responsible for accurate management of leases, dining service agreements, and other administrative responsibilities relating to leased properties.
Leasing and Contract Administration: Maximize occupancy of university rental properties by performing leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws. Persuasively presents information on housing and dining services. Negotiates lease offers and prepares, executes, and explains leases and related documents.
Communications: Responds to housing waiting list inquiries. Communicates with and audits on-site property management staff regarding information and documents relating to resident occupancy. Assists other leasing staff and provides general receptionist duties for suite offices.
Database Management: Manages and updates lease systems and related databases.
Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Housing.
Working in general office conditions with occasional site visits to properties. Occasional weekends in relation to resident check-in and resident recruitment events.
High School graduation or GED equivalent. Five years of experience in general business, property rental, hotel reservations, or sales/marketing. (College hours may be substituted for experience.)
Bachelor's Degree. Proficient in the use of StarRez or similar comprehensive student housing management software system. Knowledge of one or more relational database managers (Access, ORACLE, SAP, SQL Server). Excellent communication and customer service skills
