Responsible for all aspects of library technical services for all Kendall College of Art and Design (KCAD) Library Collections including: acquisitions, cataloging, bibliographic access for all materials in all formats utilizing MARC (machine-readable cataloging) record standards, supervision of physical materials processing, serials acquisition, control and binding. Utilize integrated library system (ILS) to perform all of the above functions, as well as electronic reporting to Library Director and other staff. Act as liaison between FSU Big Rapids technical library staff for ILS issues. This is a one-year full-time temporary position.
Master's degree in library or information science (MLS/MILS) from an ALA-accredited program.
Required Work Experience:
At least three years of experience in library technical services. Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilizing electronic integrated library system for all aspects of bibliographic acquisition and control, including third-party interfaces and bibliographic utilities, MARC records, and all applicable professional standards.
