The Assistant Director of International Recruitment and Outreach is responsible for recruiting qualified applicants for admission, consistent with the highest ethical standards. The position is responsible for managing time and inquiry resources to generate interest in Golden Gate University academic programs. Including high quantity of prospects phone, e-mail, text, and instant messaging contact to follow-up activity to coach student and motivate them in applying to graduate programs at Golden Gate University.
Qualify and coach prospects through admissions funnel through admission and enrollment.
Deploy understanding of consultative, relationship and solution sales, on behalf of international prospective learners by using customer relationship management (CRM) database; initiates outreach via different media; i.e. phone, e-mail, text, and instant messaging platforms.
Follow through with prospective pipeline using various forms of communication with emphasis on continued improvement on conversion of international prospective students to enrolled status.
Display strong commitment to performance tracking using metrics reporting, organization of data and documentation of daily activities.
Facilitate and working with University Admissions Operation's staff to collect documents to determine applicant eligibility.
Advise students with regard to program and course selection by providing information to students on evaluations, admission and transfer credit procedures, registration policies and general admission and academic policies.
In consultation with the Director of Enrollment Services and Associate Director of International Recruitment will participate in and support various events such as international student orientation/check-in and admissions and recruitment events.

Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Knowledge of: Principles and practices of graduate admissions, academic administration and international student services. Administrative procedures and organizational management tools. Automated student databases and academic record systems. Basic understanding of procedures and U.S. immigration policy. Windows based PC's using MS Office Suite 2003.
Ability to: Establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the international community. Communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively in oral and written forms. Work effectively with students from a variety of cultures and educational backgrounds. Work independently and accurately with attention to detail, but also demonstrate ability to work as a productive member of a team.
Skills: Customer-service oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent communication skills – oral and written; strong problem solving skills, analytical skills to interpret and communicate complex regulations to help others from diverse cultures who have various levels of English proficiency; fluency in a foreign language (oral, written) is a plus. Sales Force and Colleague experience a plus.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university required; Master's degree in related field preferred; two or more years related experience and/or training in an academic administrative and sales role; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous admissions experience preferred.
