AIChE is a professional society of more than 53,000 chemical engineers in 110 countries. In this position, you will coordinate/support CCPS membership and projects related activities within CCPS. The organizations involved in the scope of work include;
Coordinate / support all membership related activities within CCPS Americas
Coordinate / support administrative activities within CCPS Americas.
Coordinate / support administrative activities related to Design Institute for Physical Properties (DIPPR) and Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS)
Coordinate / support CCPS projects invoicing / coordination activities related to Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS)
Liaison with administrative activities on CCPS International Programs
Coordinate / support all administrative activities within the team
Manage the CCPS email address and proper distribution to team
Manage Web support activities for the team globally, including Business Blast and Box.com
Manage Advisory Board logistics, including annual meetings and dinners
Manage Technical Steering Committee (TSC) logistics, including meetings and dinners
Liaison with Membership to execute the membership invoicing process
Liaison with Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS) officers on administrative and web activities:
Data reporting in Personify database
Updates to Design Institute for Emergency Relief Systems (DIERS) webpage; invoice processing
Liaison with Design Institute for Physical Properties (DIPPR) on membership support administrative - invoice processing
Liaison with Process Equipment Reliability Database (PERD) on administrative activities - invoice processing
Possible Webinar support
Project tracking and engagement – ensure incoming project engagement requests from volunteers are implemented – Reporting, Web updates, Content Management System (CMS), invoicing for Staff consultants
Organize live and web-conferenced CCPS member meetings; take minutes as necessary
Organize and execute Book Mailing work process
Track Technical Steering Committee (TSC) subcommittee project engagement and develop a scorecard
Liaison with Membership to maintain contact databases and effective follow-up systems that support member recruitment and retention for CCPS
Liaison with Database and create reports to aid in making membership management efficient
Execute Mary Kay O'Conner Booth Exchange process, including managing booth at Mary Kay O’Conner (MKOC).
Support efforts to finalize formatting of new books
Perform miscellaneous administrative support activities [Expense Reports, invoicing, travel support, outlook management] for CCPS Executive Director and Technical Director
Support CCPS Credential project activities
Minimum BA/BS degree required
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required
Demonstrated communications and/or marketing experience (writing samples to be requested)
Excellent task management skills; detail oriented and organized
Must be able to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines
Able to work independently
Demonstrated experience in working successfully within a highly collaborative environment
Advanced-level skills in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Web
Relevant sales or fundraising experience
Foreign language skills a plus, but not required
Must be able to travel approximately 10 days per year
