This position is responsible for directly interfacing and representing Janicki Industries sales efforts, primarily, but not limited to, Renewable Energy, Marine, Transportation, Architectural, Infrastructure, and other similar business sectors. The ideal candidate with possess engineering technical sales experience with composites and metallic tooling, large scale structures with working knowledge of fabrication processes; infusion, pre-preg, welding and machining. You will interact with existing and potential new customers to understand expectations, develop and foster relationships. You will also interface with internal management, design, engineering, operations and suppliers to create compelling presentations and proposals communicating the solutions and total value that Janicki Industries can offer. In addition, from time to time, the candidate will be assigned an awarded project to manage through design and fabrication. Incumbent must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing shifting priorities. Incumbent must be familiar with Janicki’s strategies, policies, procedures and must rely on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Travel frequency of approximately once-twice per month is expected.

Teamwork: Works both individually and as part of a team to develop estimating tools, proposals and to generate sales. Promotes and fosters internal support across multiple departments. Serves as the sales focal on various project teams balancing the customer’s interests with the business objectives of Janicki Industries.
Creative Problem Solving: Finds ways to solve problems both inside and outside the company using a variety of tools, software, and hard work. Analyzes problems and uses critical thinking to find solutions.
Estimation: Participates with creation and effectively uses a variety of tools; internal rates, past cost/schedule actuals and baseline variances, product calculators, resource utilization, market data, research and other data to develop accurate estimates that are timely and support commercial objectives of both Janicki Industries and our customers.
Request for Proposals (RFP’s): Reviews incoming (RFP’s) to identify submission requirements, contractual obligations and identify optimum engineered technical solution.
Proposals and Presentations: Creates and submits “best overall value” sales proposals to customers within their schedule expectations. Creates customer specific presentations highlighting JI’s capabilities that address customer’s needs.
Project Management: Leads project planning, management, and internal coordination with other departments and external customer communication.
Planning/Reporting: Assists Vice President with researching, analyzing, and developing business development and sales strategies for multiple markets. Creates departmental sales reports and forecasting as assigned. Assists with creating and presenting reports for Executive Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The incumbent must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The incumbent shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, OR OTHER APPLICABLE ENGINEERING FIELD WITH MINIMUM 4 YEARS WORK EXPERIENCE
MUST BE PREPARED TO LEARN AND OPERATE ANY SOFTWARE PROGRAM THAT CAN HELP SOLVE A PROBLEM: This may include many types of productivity software, CAD Programs, Scheduling and ERP software. Must be comfortable with most forms of technology
