As a Caregiver (Direct Support Professional, DSP)with SC MENTOR, you'll be one of those extraordinary people. This positionsupports individuals we serve in residential settings. We seek a compassionateperson to successfully provide assistance with daily activities such as mealpreparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. In thisrole you will also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individualson outings in the community or providing transportation to work or otheractivities. Our DSPs partner withclinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

The highest need scheduleswe are currently hiring for are the following:
Part Time Weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday) - all shifts
Shifts include 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), 3rd (11pm-7am)
·Initial Training Requirement: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm – Paid Training: Sessions are held Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.
What we require of you:
High school diploma, GEDor equivalent
Must be minimum of 18 years of age
Valid South Carolina driver's license in good standing
Access to a registered vehicle withproof of insurance
Successful clearance of backgroundchecks

Initial Training Requirement--Paid Training:
Mandatory paid training sessions are offered to newemployees prior to providing care to individuals. While our DSP shiftsoccur 24/7, our Training sessions are Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm.
