Guideone is seeking a Sr. Loss Control professional who resides in Chicago and will manage this market, along with; IL, IN, OH, MI and WI. They will conduct on-site loss control surveys and consultation services with commercial lines customers in our core niches of; Church, Senior Living Centers (SLC), schools and Non-Profit Organizations. Expertise in SLC highly desired. Approximately 40% travel is required with some overnights.
Conduct on site Loss Control surveys of large commercial lines and Major Accounts customers.
Provide detailed reports of all Loss Control surveys and services.
Provide Loss Control Consulting Service for large commercial lines and Major Accounts customers.
Present Loss Control training programs for large commercial lines and Major Account customers. Complete field assignments for specific technical areas. Develop and implement account service plans on large accounts.

Required Experience: • Four year degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineer, Fire Protection Engineer.
Preferred experience and credentials
2 or more years of Loss Control experience with knowledge of the following preferred: Churches, Senior Living Communities, Schools and Non-profit organizations. Insurance Carrier Experience.
Demonstrates the ability to use commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the Loss Control and Risk Management field.
Insurance Carrier Experience.
Certified in one or more of the following: Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, Associate in Loss Control Management, Associate in Risk Management, Certified Industrial Hygienist.
Demonstrates computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint), CAD & Valuation Software.
Convey clear, concise information to others, using verbal or other appropriate communication techniques. Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
Complete formal training plan and assignments as required.
