Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Staff Assistant for the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Performs a wide variety of administrative and support services for a Federally-contracted Health Program.
Executes assignments and tasks requiring data collection, information gathering, analysis, data entry/retrieval, data base maintenance, and forms and graphics generation utilizing a variety of software packages.
Assists in member services management for the World Trade Center Health Program including scheduling activities, outreach and retention functions.
Screens call and provides information in accordance with organizational policy.
Prepares and/or compiles data for special reports and analyses, monthly reports, program evaluations, and other related reports within prescribed guidelines.
Home Location Campus: Piscataway (RBHS)
Experience in a healthcare field is preferred.
Experience in Medical Billing and Coding preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience in Microsoft Access is required.
