Assistant or Associate Professor (Adjunct, In-Residence) MED - Genetics
Faculty Position, University of California San Diego: The Department of Medicine (http://med.ucsd.edu) at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Division of Medical Genetics is actively recruiting for a full-time faculty position with the following areas of focused academic interests:
1) Computational methodologies and analysis techniques relevant to cancer genomics research 2) Special interest and research experience in the genomics of central nervous system tumors 3) Development of practical, accessible, open source software tools to further our understanding and treatment of cancer.
Applicants must be PhD and must have an excellent record of research productivity.
Appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. Series will be determined by the successful candidate's skills and qualifications. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
