Purpose: The Management Department of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in International Business beginning September, 2018.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with salaries at other AACSB-International accredited business schools.
Basic Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an AACSB-International accredited university in international business or a closely related field, such as strategy. PhD must be completed or near completion by the start date. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to publish their research in high-quality peer-reviewed scholarly journals and also have demonstrated excellence teaching international business, strategy and/or management at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: A. Maintaining a program of research leading to publications in high-quality journals B. Teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses in international business and strategy, possibly in organization theory, and fulfilling the responsibilities associated with those courses C. Providing suitable service to the Department, University, profession, and/or community.
Work Authorization: A foreign national who is appointed to a tenured or tenure-track faculty position is eligible for sponsorship by Santa Clara University.
