This position is responsible for the full range of interactions and building and nurturing relationships with CalOptima staff. Primary Responsibilities: Resolves issues related to the Division of Financial Responsibility and other contractual concernsDevelop internal staff education and coordinate with staff on external provider education programsServe as a key resource on complex and/or critical issuesSolve complex problems and develop innovative solutionsPerform complex conceptual analysesPerform all tasks related to managing a multitude of reports Reviews new health plan requirements based on policy, legislative and regulatory changesMay lead functional or segment teams on projectsProvide explanations and information to others on complex issuesMotivate and inspire other team members Key to the success of our small department is the implementation and tracking of programs we developOther projects as directed by supervisorThe ideal candidate would have government related experience with Medi-Cal and Medicare programs. The position is heavily focused on compliance and regulatory requirements. An experienced manger of projects would be an excellent candidate.
