Department/Division/Location: Respiratory Care/The School of Health Careers, Tech. & Applied Learning
Hourly Rate of Pay: $72.60 per hour. No benefits.
Responsibilities: The incumbent will provide clinical experiences in Respiratory Care for students, directing student activities in clinical situations and acting as a resource and a professional role model. S/he will perform patient care as a clinical instructor, and engage students in supervised experiences with a variety of respiratory pathologies. S/he will participate in the evaluation of students’ emerging professional competencies and in the program’s professional training.
Qualifications: The successful candidate must possess a minimum of a AAS degree in Respiratory Care, two years clinical experience, a NY state license, clinical preceptor experience and an RRT credential. A BS in a health related profession is preferred; and MA or MS degree is desirable. Advanced NBRC credentials such as NPS & ACCS are highly desirable. Excellent communication and computer skills are required.
