The Director will report to the Assistant Vice-President for Community Outreach and Applied Research. Primary functions are: supervise and maintain schedules for the Assistant Director and the Youth Coordinators; develop and maintain appropriate work sites and cultivate and maintain relationships with these sites; monitor applications to postsecondary schools and track types of certificate and degree programs participants matriculate in; access WIOA participants for educational, social and employment needs; maintain and insure accuracy of participant records and database; prepare reports to funding agency (AB&T) and insure on-time submission of those reports; prepare grant proposal documents and ensure compliance with grant requirements; refer students to educational and community resources; conduct weekly tracking of participant progress and program success based on official goals; attend required meetings with AB&T and other Department of Labor officials and assist in preparing additional or subsequent grant applications; complete hiring paperwork for participants and performs other related duties as assigned.
