Providence is calling a CT Technologist (Diagnostic Imaging, Variable Shift, 0.6 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. In this position you will:
Apply prescribed ionizing radiation in special procedures for a radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent.
Providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards.
Maintain clinical competencies through participation in educational and orientation programs.
Assist in assigned administrative tasks.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensed by the State of Montana as a Radiologic Technologist
Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography within 6 months of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Knowledge of the techniques of diagnostic radiology
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of radiographic equipment
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year general radiology experience
Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience for modality of special procedures
