In this role within Macquarie's Corporate Operations Group you will utilise your Project Management and PMO experience and be accountable for delivering initiatives in the COG Technology Regulatory Reporting team within scope, on time and within budget whilst ensuring quality objectives are achieved.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
Defining new projects including schedule, cost and resources.
Managing the full lifecycle of project activities including risk and issues management, progress tracking, resource tracking, financials tracking and stakeholder management.
Ensuring compliance with in-house project methodology.
Ensuring deliverables meet the strategic objectives of the business and technology.
Ensuring Macquarie's security, risk, audit and compliance frameworks are implemented and followed.
Assisting in the management of the team's infrastructure, licensing and staff recoveries.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of IT processes and methodologies within the team.
Key Skills required for this role include:
Project management: Ability to manage multiple medium sized technology projects including upgrades, integration and software implementations, whilst also driving a structured and robust process.
Communication : Effective communication with project stakeholders, including both IT and business, and up to Director level management.
Budget management: Manage budgets for multiple projects and initiatives.
Stakeholder engagement : Ability to engage with technology stakeholders on a senior level whilst maintaining the ability to work with SME's on detail.
You will also have:
Experience in institutional banking or financial services industry.
Strong presentation, communication and people skills.
Problem solving skills with a broad understanding of technology and infrastructure.
