Broward Health is a special state taxing district created under Florida law and is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners appointed by the Governor of Florida.
The President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to Broward Health in furtherance of its Mission, Vision, goals, philosophy and values. The position will report directly to the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners.
The President/CEO will promote and model a culture of trust, exceptional performance and continuous improvement. The incumbent will be accountable for the effective execution of policies and plans to direct and achieve both long and short term system objectives to sustain a high functioning, successful organization and market leader with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction, clinical and quality outcomes, employee and physician engagement, regulatory compliance, financial success and operational efficiencies.
The President/CEO will promote an inclusive environment that will include community input and participation through partnerships that promote trust and transparency thereby strengthening and reinforcing collaboration.
The CEO will sponsor, champion and facilitate best practices throughout the organization to ensure BH is prepared to meet the challenges of an evolving healthcare delivery environment.
The incumbent will establish and maintain credibility and trust with the North Broward Hospital District Board of Commissioners and proactively communicate relevant healthcare trends, issues and strategies to facilitate a highly collaborative environment that fosters market success.
The incumbent will have an established background and record to include visionary leadership, successful healthcare operations, exemplary financial management, strategic agility and market success.

Ensure oversight for communication, implementation, enforcement, and monitoring, of regulatory obligations, compliance policies and practices;

Education Master’s Degree Required
Experience Minimum of ten (10) years healthcare leadership experience. CEO Leadership of a multi- facility healthcare organization highly preferred. Military leadership experience valued.
