The opportunity Pikeville Medical Center has available is for a hospital emplyed, BE/BC Urologist.
The physician shall perform all of the usual and customary clinical services of a physician specializing in urology to include the diagnosis, examination, consultation, and treatment (including the performance of procedures) of in-patients and out-patients in a clinic/office and hospital setting to all patients directed by PMC. We have the brand new Da Vinci XI system, a dedicated Cysto surgical suite, Siemens Uroskop access urology surgical table system, complete laparoscopic capabilities, a cystoscope that is HD with chip at the tip, fiber optic urethroscopes, two 320 slice CT scanners and 3 MRI’s including the 3 Tesla. PMC currently has two urologists on staff and another joining Summer 2017. We don't require that our urologist use the Robot, unless the physician chooses to do so. We recently expanded our intensive care services bringing the total number of intensive care beds to 78.
