You'll find that this is place where you can do your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities:Develop, perform, and manage the analyses of business and financial metrics as well as performance measuresDevelop and maintain financial reports to clearly communicate actual results, forecasted performance, and variances to plan, forecast and budgetDevelop, perform and manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting and forecastingProduce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for their stakeholders Understand the UnitedHealth Group financial process and become an active participant in the management of its financialsAnalyze and report on financials and partner with Finance manager to collaboratively manage budgetsAssist with periodic forecast and budget creation for business leadershipCollaborate with segment finance to understand and demonstrate complex concepts in ways that lead to understanding by a variety of audiencesUnderstand and follow internal control policies and procedures relating to program actual expense tracking and reportingPrepare adjusting, accrual and capital journal entries in accordance with GAAP and monthly segment close schedule; maintain detailed documentation to substantiate program account balances
