MSK is seeking a Space Planning Coordinator to join our team. The Space Planning Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining the master MSKCC space inventory database and space allocation floor plans encompassing over 6 million square feet of clinical, research and administrative space, the Center’s most valuable and limited capital asset. The Planning Coordinator collects, evaluates, and ensures data quality and prepares space allocation reports and visual aids for use in institutional planning and operations.
Collaborate with MSK Design and Facilities Planning staff to integrate new/revised architectural drawings.
Maintain a CAD Plan Matrix to track projects at each milestone that necessitates an updated drawing from MSK Design: SD, DD, CD and As-Built.
Validate and update space occupancy and usage through physical surveys and interviews/electronic surveys with department administrators, staff and through the review of internal organizational reports.
Input data and modify occupancy drawings utilizing Archibus and AutoCAD.
Identify and develop new and improved sources of information and methods for validating cost center allocations and occupants.
Accept requests and collaborate in developing customized reports and visual aids for internal leadership and external agencies.
Generate and distribute quarterly updates to the MSK Space Allocation Book to institutional leadership.
4-7 years of experience in a related field
Proficiency with Archibus and AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills
