The Administrative Assistant in the Office of the President represents the public face of the President’s Office and is responsible for conducting a broad array of general office duties in support of the leadership and mission of the office.
The Administrative Assistant provides the first line of response for incoming calls, e-mails, and coordinating tasks that emerge. Other responsibilities include scheduling most on-campus and off-campus related appointments, coordinate domestic and international travel logistics, and assist with coordinating the preparation of materials needed for daily meetings.
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, regular, 12-month position.

The successful candidate should have 3-5 years of directly related experience, including Clerical or Administrative Assistant training. Advanced computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel, comfort with learning new programs and processes. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple responsibilities.
Preferred qualities include experience working in a higher education environment.
