Providing exceptional clinical quality and patient satisfaction is key to our success as a Medical Group and to our value based contracts as payments are tied directly to performance on clinical quality performance. This position is responsible for creating the quarterly quality dashboards as well as the monthly Patient Experience dashboards each month. Our internal quality dashboards are now the basis of the value based compensation model for our FM, IM, and Pediatrician providers. This role is critical to ensuring our quality data is accurate for the physician compensation.
Additionally, this position is responsible for putting together the volume and patient attraction/retention data for the SSM Health Express Clinics. This data is crucial to the Financial Improvement Plan (FIP) as well as to the operations and leadership of the SSM Health Express Clinics.
Ensures the establishment of appropriate systems for data collection, analysis and dissemination of information to internal and external customers.
Standardizes and integrates data sources / processes to address customer needs
Participates in the development of quality improvement reports using objective data with computerized reporting, statistical validation and tracking for quality and financial effectiveness
Support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) by aggregating data that is used to develop strategies for improving quality and cost-effectiveness across the continuum of care (Access, Excel, Epic).
Perform medical economics, trend calculations, and reporting. Carry out complex data manipulations which culminate in the design and production of ad hoc analyses and reports for internal and external customers
Analysis of data to provide insight and recommendations for business decisions and the performance of data validation to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of analytic models
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or a health related field required
2 to 5 years of related health information management experience
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
