New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC), a leading non-profit in New York that has been caring for the community for over 40 years, was founded on the belief that everyone, no matter their age, race or socioeconomic status, is entitled to the best possible mental health treatment. Comprising of a network of seven treatment facilities within Brooklyn, Queens and the Bronx, we assist children, families and individuals with behavioral and emotional challenges in becoming more productive, independent members of society.
We are currently seeking warm, empathetic, Spanish speaking Fee-For-Service Social Workers/Therapists/Mental Health Counselors to join our growing Clinical Team. These are full-time positions that will based out of our state-of-the-art Child and Family Health Centers located in Brooklyn: East New York or Bushwick, or the Bronx.
Provides on-site therapy to an ethnically and culturally diverse population of children, adolescents, and young adults
Develops and implements treatment plans
Maintains and updates clinical records; writing progress notes
Provides case management and/or crisis intervention
Must be bilingual - English/Spanish
MSW, LMSW, LCSW, MCAT or MMHC from an accredited school; new graduates are encouraged to apply
LMSW and LCSW must have a New York State license in good standing. Supervision provided by Licensed Clinicians, so your hours will count toward your licensure.
MCAT or MMHC candidates must be a holder of Permit or Permit eligible
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines, including clinical and clerical staff
Strong dedication to workplace mentorship, education and team-based care
