Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physician to join our expanding program within the Division of Supportive and Palliative Care. This position is located at our facility in Waco, Texas.

What your day may consist of across both inpatient and outpatient settings:
Plan for and facilitate opening an outpatient Palliative Care Clinic forecasted for 2018
Discussions with patients and families on goals of care and advance care planning
Education of disease processes, facilitation of transitions of care, and symptom management
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and other specialists to provide patient centered care
Participate in committees, group activities, and quality improvement initiatives relating to palliative care
Participate in education activities for clinical staff, outside referral base and lay public in providing education regarding supportive & palliative care
Shared night/weekend call
