This position provides administrative and clerical support for the Center for Undergraduate Studies and Advising. Duties/Responsibilities include: coordinating front office functions; maintaining databases; preparing reports; maintaining records of all Communication & Information students; data entry in Banner; assisting with student orientations; directing questions and inquires to appropriate personnel/departments; providing support to the College's Academic Affairs personnel; providing student data for College's academic programs; scheduling appointments for Communication & Information students; supervising student workers; performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma; 3 years of office experience working with students in higher education Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; knowledge of Banner and IRIS
Skills and Abilities: Dependable with excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills. Ability to effectively communicate with diverse faculty, staff, students, and the general public; ability to self-manage and take initiative. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Access, and Excel.
