The Associate Director of the Career Center exercises daily oversight of the Center’s functions and provides direct supervision for several professional staff members. The Associate Director will use knowledge of career development theory and practice to guide office programs and create new programming. The Associate Director will also assume primary responsibility for the creation and implementation of outcomes-based assessment planning, collection, and interpretation of data.
The Associate Director will provide career counseling/advising to students, and will plan and present multiple workshops and programs, including a multi-week non-credit bearing career development class. This position will operate with a great deal of autonomy, and will be responsible for daily decision making for office functions.
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, regular, 12-month position.

The successful candidate must possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field and have 5-6 years’ experience in a career development in a higher education setting.
Preferred qualities include background in career development and student development theory, experience in managing office operations, experience building effective teams.
