1. Under general direction of the Human Resources Director, and with a high level of independent judgment, carries out a wide range of administrative duties to support the Law School's Human Resources function, serving staff, students and faculty. 2. Responsible for Law School fellow appointment process, involving large number of academic, research and administrative fellows with various funding sources, titles and appointment parameters. Manages Sponsored Identity and other access set up, issues and problem resolution. Utilizes Workday and Salesforce systems. 3. Responsible for large student and casual payroll function: paper and electronic time sheets, stipends, assigning diverse student appointments to correct category and pay range; researches and resolves issues; responds to unscheduled federal and business employment verification requests. Works with departments on special student hiring needs. 4. Serves as the face of the YLS Human Resources department to visitors, staff, students and faculty. Schedules interviews; coordinates HR events, orients new employees and maintains current orientation materials. Posts new job requisitions and manages candidate pools. Coordinates reimbursements. Assists with or manages business continuity and community building projects. 5. Responsible for the department's database systems management. including worforce/salary/headcount analysis, special confidential projects, Salesforce on-boarding and off-boarding system, various lists and other reports as needed. Maintains internal lists. 6. High level of sensitive contact with exempt and non-exempt staff, faculty and students, including advising on general payroll and human resources questions. 7. Serves as back up for assignment of temporary faculty work to C, D and E level faculty support staff. 8. Assists with HR training events. Coordinates space/food/av/travel needs. 9. Other duties incidental to running the department.
