The position requires both administrative and faculty skills to manage the online courses, supervise admissions, coordinate faculty course assignments, and teach courses online. The program is housed within the Department of Learning and Teaching (DLT). The program director would be expected to work with the Professional and Continuing Education (PCE) unit at USD. The position is supported by a designated administrative assistant.
Program Development/Management Teaching Instructional Leadership and Support Student Advisement and Support Additional Opportunities This is a full-time, temporary, benefit-based position with an anticipated start date of July 15, 2017 and assignment end date of August 31, 2018. Assignment is renewable on a year-to-year basis. Qualifications: Administrative experience Online teaching experience; expertise with technology and its application in educational settings Ability to work with others to create a collaborative learning community that is responsive to student and faculty needs Teaching experience in K-12 education and/or teacher education
