Job Description Summary:
Lead, analyze, plan, test and implement technical solutions that support the strategic operations of the academic advising officers and the Division of Academic Affairs. Develop and maintain processes for effective data management leading to the generation of complex reports, databases, dashboards, data analytics, and other relevant technologies. Evaluate technical processes and provide flexible solutions for use/integration by academic advising. Create and maintain documentation of business processes. Create and present technology training workshops and presentations for academic advising.
Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Three years information management experience, including data analysis, data queries using SQL in relational databases, data quality maintenance and reporting, and using advanced features of tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience with Ellucian Banner and CRM software, including workflow modeling. Strong oral and written communication and analytical skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and experience with technology project management. Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Masters degree in related field. Experience working in higher education. Experience with Moodle or other course management systems, Toad for Oracle, ARGOS, and predictive analytics tools and applications.
