We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a FGP Medical Assistant.
In this role, the successful candidate Medical assistant to perform phlebotomy and related tasks for patients undergoing treatment at Fertility Center. Includes data entry, results documentation, filing, exam room turnover and other related duties to support patient care. Provides coverage for team members.
- Review outstanding, required testing with patients to ensure all pre conception testing is completed prior to start of treatment.
- Schedule patients/couples for blood draiwng and genetic testing.
- Maintain exam room set up between patients during morning monitoring and phlebotomy hours
- Enter demographic information for external laboratories as required by treatment protocols and insurer.
- Perform phlebotomy for patients as per medical orders for patients undergoing fertility treatment and evaluation.
To qualify you must have a high school diploma or the equivalency. One- two years experience in phlebotomy and data entry in a fast paced medical office. Knowledge of fertility treatments preferred. Ability to participate in occasional weekend and holiday rotation.Must hold a current Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution
