The Credit Risk Reporting and MI team is responsible for the reporting, monitoring and control of credit risk on the Financial Market (FM) trading books, across multiple asset classes including FX, fixed income, interest rates, money market, equities, credit and related derivatives. The team supports traded credit risk managers globally and is based in Singapore.
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time role in the team to support the automation framework of the team as well as to carry out monitoring and investigation of breaches of PFE limits as well as address exposure-related issues. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of VBA, SQL and Microsoft Access for data analysis. Good knowledge of FM products (FX, fixed income, derivatives, commodities), gained in a credit risk management environment (Counterparty Credit Risk) is preferred.

* Support credit limit monitoring processes and excess investigation for the FM business and through maintaining limit framework and advising on exposures and limit utilisations from risk systems. * Develop new features or make enhancements to VBA & Access-based automation framework to support new reporting requirements and/or MIS requests. * Management of automation framework to ensure risk aggregation and exposure reporting are done efficiently and accurately. * Work with system teams, project teams and monitoring teams on changes impacting our automation and credit risk systems framework. * User testing for project releases / migration projects / BAU enhancements.

* Proficient in MS Excel / Access (VBA / SQL) for data analysis * Understands programming concepts. Computing degree or related discipline will be advantageous * Strong product knowledge in FI / FX / Credit Derivatives / IR Derivatives / Equity Derivatives * Counterparty credit risk knowledge * Related experience in Middle office, risk control and reporting * Relevant banking experience (2 - 4 years) * Works well individually as well as part of a team * Able to meet tight deadlines * Inquisitive, with attention to detail * Proactive attitude towards work * Problem solving ability
