| As a member of a securities lending trading desk, the incumbent is responsible for achieving profitability goals by originating and maintaining loans of securities to approved borrowers. Competitive benchmarking and due diligence will be required. A constant drive to self-educate and innovate for the purpose of refining our competitive advantages as multi-asset class specialists is expected. Additionally, the incumbent borrower relationship responsibilities that will include occasional travel and presentations. Related projects may also be assigned from time to time. |
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, finance or economics. An advanced degree, either an MBA or CFA certification, is desired, but not required. He/she should have a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in securities trading, sales, operations or portfolio management. Specialized skills, training, education or prior work experience. A working knowledge of the fixed income/equity markets and related economic and technical indicators is essential. The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills plus a solid understanding in the use of spreadsheets.
