Do you enjoy making multi-sensory and differentiated lessons for different learning styles? If yes is your answer to any of these questions, we want to talk with you.
Compass is a small private high school for students with learning differences. Founded four years ago, Compass is in a period of enrollment growth with a start-up vibe. Our mission is to provide a supportive, individualized program to help students develop their full academic potential. We are fully accredited, college-preparatory, and specialize in cutting-edge technology and experiential learning. In addition, we focus on learning strategies, social competence, and self-advocacy to give students the knowledge and self-confidence they need to succeed. When hiring, we look for highly skilled faculty and value educational innovation within a nurturing family environment. Are you our next team member?
As a math teacher in the Compass community, you will be on the ground floor testing and growing our new integrated math curriculum. In addition you will have smaller classes (5 - 10 students per class), interactive whiteboards, and a small collaborative team where you directly influence our educational environment. This allows you to be creative as a teacher and still be supported for success.
