We are looking for a Senior Commercial Lending Relationship Manager to join our management team working under the general guidance of the CEO to produce growth in loans, deposits, cross sales and fee income in accordance with annually established goals.
Minimum of 5 years commercial/business lending experience in the market we expect you to serve, providing satisfactory evidence that you have an established book of business and a depth of referral sources (network) necessary to be successful in development of new business relationships having lending components up to $3,500,000.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a mid-size or larger financial institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to meet with and interview client/prospects. Analyze financial information, and underwrite loan transactions in accordance with designated bank guidelines.
Communicates declinations to prospects and customers in written or verbal form as required by Bank procedures and Federal Guidelines.
Proven ability to reach established annual loan production and retention goals.
Skill and experience in structuring all types of C&I loans and commercial real estate loans. Experience with all types of SBA lending is preferred.
Strong analytical, time management and organizational skills with work exhibiting a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be persuasive one-on-one as well as in a group setting.
Thorough understanding of basic principles of accounting, and financial analysis.
Computer literacy in word processing, financial software used for spreading financial information, Excel and Word. Use of time and customer management software such as Access or Outlook a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel with the bank’s service area to conduct site visits and develop new clients.
An entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work successfully in a collaborative manner with capacity to work quasi-independently with clients/prospects, under the general direction of CEO and Chief Credit Officer.
Impeccable personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of customer data.
Actively participates in the local community and business community at large.
Excellent customer service for internal and external customers.
Telecommuting is allowed.
