| The Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders at the Penn State Children’s Hospital in beautiful rural Hershey, Pennsylvania, is recruiting a BC/BE Adolescent Medicine full-time physician. The successful candidate will join a team that includes Dr. Leslie Walker-Harding, Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital, an Adolescent Medicine fellowship-trained physician. Our Division also includes two Adolescent Medicine fellowship-trained pediatricians and a family medicine physician, as well as three nurse practitioners and other subspecialists, in our busy multidisciplinary clinical practice, with a concentration on children, teens, and young adults with eating disorders. We have a number of other divisional clinical activities, including weight management, female reproductive health, and school health. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents. There are many opportunities to initiate and participate in clinical research and quality projects. |
As a member of an academic division(s), at an academic medical center, there are opportunities to initiate and participate in scholarly projects. There is also the unique opportunity to enroll in our institution’s Junior Faculty Development program. This is a mature program designed to assist junior faculty in the development of a project that can lead to a successful and fulfilling academic career.
Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital is located in Hershey, PA, and is located near Harrisburg. Hershey is a safe, family -friendly location with access to excellent public schools and a reasonable cost-of-living.
